2024 theme for the International Day of People with Disabilities is celebrating the leadership of Disabled People in communities.
Disability Ministry is launching a campaign celebrating people with disabilities in our Church. Rev’d Leo Te Kira is the first person we celebrate.
Leadership can take many forms: being involved in leading worship, being welcoming, praying, befriending other people, always helping around the parish, or sharing wisdom.
We wish to celebrate more disabled leaders in our church. If you have someone in mind, seek their permission and contact us.
