St Mary's students continue to pray & act for refugees

The following is an excerpt from the Anglican Schools Office Term 4 newsletter:

Two years ago Anglican Schools across Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia joined together in a 24-hour prayer vigil for the refugee crisis. Since then, schools have continued to pray and act to raise awareness, knowledge, and aid for those in our own countries and beyond seeking a safe place to live.

This short article has a great summary of the work St Marys Stratford students have undertaken over the past year - including service ideas, practical 'welcome to NZ packs', and attending meetings on the refguee quota.

Read on and be inspired.
