Refugee Sunday is designated as 7 July in the Anglican Tradition, and World Refugee day is 20 June.
This year we highlight the plight of refugees from Syria, some of whom were already Palestinian refugees.

In 2018 Anglican churches have the opportunity to mark Refugee Sunday Sunday 1 July. CWS has produced a pack of worship resources, which include an introduction with background on the theme, intercessory prayers and themed reflections on lectionary readings, plus links to more information and videos online.
The Turangawaewae Art Project is a collaboration bringing together over 15 artists from across the lower North Island. 42 tangata (wooden people) have been turned into artworks exploring the impact of around 42,000 people living within the NZ definition of homelessness (at the last Census.) The artwork will stand on the forecourt of the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul until Sunday 3 Sept.
